We ended our term 3 with a bang! We hosted a Career Day Expo to assist our Gr 9’s with subject choices and our Gr 11+12’s with career pathways. This was the first career day expo at the school and in the community, with amazing youth organisation collaborating to make it possible.

Special thanks to our MC Litha Sam-Sam from Ubuntu_Trends and guest speaker Julia Duminy from MOT SA, The Sozo Foundation, Vrygrond Computer Lab - VCL, MOT SA, Communiversity, False Bay College, Varsity College Cape Town, University of Cape Town

The event was a huge success and here’s to next year’s expo, the learners requested to host it every year “BECAUSE THIS IS WHAT WE NEED.”

A huge thank you to Projects Abroad and The Sozo Foundation for collaborating with us making this event a success. These learners had the amazing opportunity to engage with volunteers from various parts of the world. This was an experience our learners would not forget. ... See MoreSee Less
