JAM Centre
Joyfully Applying Myself
Our JAM Centre project is aimed to reach youth still in school grades 8 to 12. Our hearts are to come alongside vulnerable youth, poached by gangsters, traumatized by abuse, crime, drop-outs and early teenage pregnancy, walking a journey providing tools and building blocks, cultivating a shift in mind sets, to mould confident leaders thriving in their full potential.
Vision
To enhance the social and emotional wellbeing of learners from marginalised communities so that they successfully complete their high school education or equivalent and access further learning opportunities, in order to secure a hopeful future.
Mission
The Healing Heart Foundation creates a safe place at school to build relationships, nurture emotional growth and personal development through coaching and counselling, to explore and discover skills and strengths and to pursue goals.
Why is JAM Centre needed?
51% youth unemployment rate in South Africa
